Stewart-Haas Racing Switching To Ford From Chevy For '17 Season

Stewart-Haas Racing today announced that its four-car NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team will move from Chevy to Ford beginning in '17. The team will use Ford engines prepared by Roush Yates Engines (Stewart-Haas Racing). The move marks a "surprising defection from Chevrolet." The team has fielded Chevys since its inception in '02, and co-Owner Tony Stewart has driven for GM in "all but one of his 18 NASCAR seasons" (AP, 2/24).
