KT Tape To Sponsor USA Track & Field Through '20 Games

USA Track & Field has signed KT Tape as its official kinesiology tape sponsor through the '20 Tokyo Games. The tape brand will be the exclusive tape used by medical staff for the USATF team. Financial terms were not disclosed. KT Tape recently signed a non-exclusive licensee deal with the USOC. It also sponsors U.S. Soccer and plans to sign deals with additional NGBs in the coming months, KT Health CEO Greg Venner said. KT Tape was scheduled to announce endorsement deals with individual USATF Olympic hopefuls, augmenting its existing athlete roster of Rockets G James Harden and beach volleyball player Kerri Walsh Jennings.

Taylor managing partner Mark Beal and Torre Consulting managing partner Guillermo Rojas Jr. are advising KT Tape’s Olympics strategy, but this deal was negotiated directly with USATF. Other USATF sponsors include Nike, Visa and Gatorade.
