Warriors-Wizards Game Sets Records On Secondary Ticket Market

The average resale price for tickets to tonight's Warriors-Wizards game is $203 making it the the most expensive Wizards home game since SeatGeek began tracking data in '10. The game also is the most in-demand regular-season sporting event at Verizon Center in that time. The secondary market get-in price as of 11:30am ET was $90, higher than the average resale price for all but seven Wizards home games this season. The only Verizon Center events with higher ticket demand were a '12 Capitals playoff game and a '13 NCAA men's basketball regional final (Preston Bounds, Staff Writer).

This average price is "more than double what people paid to see" the Warriors-Wizards game last February (WASHINGTONPOST.com, 2/2).
