BMW Names Eight Athletes To Lead '16 Rio Games Activation

USOC sponsor BMW has selected a team of three Olympians and five Paralympians to lead its marketing efforts around the '16 Rio Games. The Olympic team includes include swimmers Tyler Clary, Nathan Adrian and Maya DiRado. The Paralympians, all track & field athletes, include Tatyana McFadden, Josh George, April Holmes, Aaron Pike and Chelsea McClammer. Athletes receive use of a BMW vehicle, adapted as needed, for the duration of their contract. A source also said the deals come with cash considerations in the low-to-mid five figures, though BMW declined to comment on financial terms.
