ESPN baseball analyst Jessica Mendoza tonight will become the "first woman to broadcast a nationally televised" MLB postseason game with the 8:00pm ET Astros-Yankees AL Wild Card contest (MLB.com, 10/6).

Richard Petty Motorsports today formally announced that it is "sticking with Ford" as the manufacturer for its NASCAR teams "for 2016 and beyond." RPM will also continue its relationship with Roush Yates engines, and its services agreement with Roush Fenway Racing (FOXSPORTS.com, 10/6).

BlueRock Energy today announced activation plans for the second season of its three-year partnership with the Nets. Efforts will include an in-game presence, social media giveaways and spots on team radio partner WFAN-AM (BlueRock Energy).
