USC has extended Legends Hospitality's concessions deal at L.A. Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena for three years through Dec. 31, 2018. The original deal started in September '13 after the school was awarded a 98-year contract to operate the two venues (Don Muret, Staff Writer).

UMass Amherst today announced that Big East Commissioner Val Ackerman will serve as the Fall Executive-in-Residence at the Mark McCormack Department of Sport Management within the university's Isenberg School of Management (UMass Amherst).

Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead said that he "supports continuing a state program that matches dollar-for-dollar contributions" of up to $5M for Univ. of Wyoming athletics. This comes "despite dire budget forecasts" (AP, 9/30).

The Hawks today announced a multiyear deal through the '16-17 season naming Point 3 Basketball the exclusive outfitter for Atlanta Hawks Youth Programs (Hawks).
