Early-Season College Football Game In Charlotte Unlikely To Sell Out

Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority CEO Tom Murray said that "he and others in tourism are hoping for a 'lot of last-minute sales'" for Thursday's South Carolina-North Carolina football game at Bank of America Stadium. I’m not sure that it will be." He "estimated attendance in the range of 50,000-plus" at the 74,000-seat stadium. All lower-level seats were sold as of last week (BIZJOURNALS.com, 8/31).
