MLBAM, Experience Look To Enhance Ballpark Mobile App

MLBAM and mobile technology outfit Experience have expanded their existing relationship to allow for the integration of Experience's Pass technology directly into MLBAM's Ballpark mobile app. The collaboration will allow fans who purchase monthly passes to an MLB team to manage their tickets within the app. Several clubs, including the Braves, White Sox, Rangers and A's, have introduced ticketing offers in which tickets for every home game in a particular month, set of months, or smaller set of time can be purchased for a flat fee, with seat locations varying for each game after the fan confirms their attendance.

The A's Ballpark Pass offer for July provides tickets to all of the club's 13 home games during the month for $89. The Experience collaboration extends a broader MLBAM effort to tie a wide range of other ticketing features, including stored value for concessions and loyalty programs, into the Ballpark app.
