Average Cost To Attend Minor League Baseball Up Slightly In '15

Minor League Baseball said the average cost for a family of four to attend a game in the U.S. affiliated minors this year is $64.18, up $0.63 from a year ago. As is typical, Triple-A carries the most expensive tickets, parking and concessions, with short season Single-A and Rookie levels the cheapest. The 1% increase in the cost to attend compared to '14 is the fourth straight year with an annual average price hike of 2.5% or less. “One of the biggest reasons Minor League Baseball attracted over 42 million fans last year, and over 41 million for 10 years in a row, is the affordability of an outing at our ballparks,” said MiLB President Pat O’Conner.
