Rangers, Islanders Set For Last Regular-Season Matchup At Coliseum

Tonight's Rangers-Islanders game will be the final regular-season matchup between the rival franchises at Nassau Coliseum, as well as the 126th "between the teams at the 43-year-old building." Fans can expect "emotions to run high," as well as an "old-school atmosphere on the ice, and in the stands" (NEWSDAY, 3/10). The Islanders will depart the "small, electric barn" next season for Brooklyn's Barclays Center. The "possibility of a playoff matchup" means the Rangers could return to the venue this postseason (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 3/10).
