Longtime A-B Marketer Mike Sundet Leaving Brewer For Momentum

Anheuser-Busch VP/Sports & Entertainment Marketing Mike Sundet this week is leaving the brewer after 19 years to join Momentum Worldwide as Senior VP and Dir of Sports & Entertainment. Sundet was one of the last of a core group of A-B marketers dating from before the InBev acquisition in '08. He will begin with Momentum on March 16. Not coincidentally, A-B is a Momentum client. Momentum Chair & CEO Chris Weil said, "I've known and worked with Mike for some time and he's a great sports and entertainment marketer, who came up through the brand side, so he's got great knowledge and discipline there. He's also a great cultural fit."

Sundet will be based in St. Louis and report to Momentum Exec VP & Regional Dir of North America Donnalyn Smith. Sundet during his time at A-B also had stints as VP/Bud Light Marketing, Senior Dir of Innovation and Brand Manager for Budweiser/Michelob Ultra. Momentum's client roster includes American Express, Coca-Cola, United Airlines, the U.S. Army and Mondelēz Int'l.
