The Phillies today announced that Chair David Montgomery, "who had been on a medical leave" as he recovered from cancer surgery on his jaw, will return to his position. Pat Gillick will "continue in his role" as team President and Bill Giles "assumes the role" of Chair Emeritus (PHILLY.com, 1/28).

Sol Republic today announced a partnership with Tiger Woods to endorse the brand's line of headphones and speakers (Sol Republic).

Formula Four has signed NFL Giants P Steve Weatherford to endorse its oxygenated water (Formula Four).

PBR and Harlequin publishers today announced that they will partner on a series of novels to debut in May. Harlequin will publish four novels with PBR content, featuring PBR bull riders on the covers. The books will be sold exclusively at U.S. Wal-Mart locations (PBR).
