Bengals Extend Radio Rights Deal With Three Area Stations

The Bengals have agreed to extend their local radio broadcast deal for five more years. Three area stations – WLW-AM, WCKY-AM and WEBN-FM – "will continue to broadcast the games through the 2019 season," as they have for the past five seasons. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. iHeartMedia, which owns 50,000-watt stations WLW and WCKY, "clearly wanted to keep the games." WLW is the Reds' flagship and "carries Bengals games when they don't conflict" with its MLB schedule (BIZJOURNALS.com, 11/19).
