High Demand On Secondary Market For Notre Dame-ASU Tickets

Saturday's Notre Dame-Arizona State football game at Sun Devil Stadium "carries major College Football Playoff implications," and "there has not been a more in-demand ASU home game in the past five years." The average secondary-market ticket is above $200, meaning the Alabama-LSU matchup is the "weekend's only game with a higher average ticket price" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 11/5). Demand for student tickets "inspired students to put up tents immediately after the Sun Devils' victory over Utah" last Saturday. ASU has the "largest student section in the Pac-12 with 13,000 seats, 5,000 of those available in the lower bowl" (ARIZONA REPUBLIC, 11/6).

As of late morning Friday, the average secondary ticket price is $222, according to SeatGeek. Single tickets start at $153, but cheapest pair is $199 per ticket. Seats on the Notre Dame sideline are more more expensive than the ASU side: fifth row behind Notre Dame bench at midfield listed for $488, sixth row behind ASU bench at $409 (Preston Bounds, Staff Writer).
