Hawks Latest NBA Team To Implement 3-D Projection System

The Hawks are the latest team to sign a deal with Quince Imaging for a 3-D projection system to used on the playing floor for player introductions and select halftime events throughout the upcoming NBA season. The Hawks will roll out the new in-game entertainment format during their home opener at Philips Arena on Nov. 1 against the Pacers. The Hawks join the Cavaliers and 76ers among NBA teams using the 3-D projection system that costs around $1M. The Devils also will use the tech at Prudential Center this season. Hawks CEO Steve Koonin said, "Adding the 3-D projection technology to our game presentation will make the experience so much richer and visually attractive for our fans."
