MLS Expansion Club Orlando City SC Breaking Ground On Stadium

Orlando City SC tonight will hold a groundbreaking for its new 20,000-seat stadium. Team President Phil Rawlins said he expects the venue to be completed "around January 2016, and we'll have a couple months to get everything ready inside the stadium, make sure it's working and operating as it should be for the first game in March." He added the "launch of our MLS jersey will be taking place in November." The club is scheduled to play its first game in March '15 after transitioning from USL Pro to MLS (ORLANDO SENTINEL, 10/15).
