NBA Begins Season-Long N.Y. Youth Initiative With Day Of Service

The Nets and the Knicks, along with the NBA, the NBPA and the N.Y. Mayor's office, today began a season-long effort to reach hundreds of thousands of youth throughout the city through basketball-related activities. As part of today's NBA Cares Day of Service, more than 1,000 employees of the league and the two teams will participate in a variety of service projects simultaneously throughout the city (NBA).
