Turner Breaks MLB Playoff Campaign Starring Bryan Cranston

Turner Sports today debuted a new promo campaign for its MLB postseason coverage featuring actor Bryan Cranston. The ads, which will air both on TV and digitally in various lengths, revolve around Cranston in a fictional one-man baseball show recreating historical highlights from prior MLB playoffs, such as Derek Jeter's '01 flip play in Oakland and dramatic World Series home runs from Kirk Gibson and Carlton Fisk. The long-form spot was recently produced in L.A. and will run extensively over the next two weeks across Turner's platforms.

"Bryan's very serious about his comedy, which is a little oxymoronic. But he was really good," said Turner Sports Senior VP/Production & Exec Creative Dir Craig Barry. "He doesn't really do promotional stuff, but he's a baseball fan and what he does here is fantastic. You can see the care and the craft he puts into it."
