Brewers Book Chivas-Swansea City For Miller Park Soccer Match

The Brewers today announced that Miller Park will host a July 16 exhibition soccer match featuring Liga MX club Chivas de Guadalajara and EPL club Swansea City, which will mark the "first professional soccer match" at the ballpark since it opened in '01. The Brewers and Miller Park Stadium District "have worked to bring in more events," including concerts and corporate gatherings. Tickets to the match will go on sale next Thursday, with prices ranging from $25-70 (JSONLINE.com, 5/15).

Also announced today is Chivas' appearance in the Audi Football Summit at Red Bull Arena. The club will play Bundesliga team Bayern Munich on July 31 (Red Bulls).
