Mizuno Breaks Brand's First TV Spot Around Boston Marathon

Mizuno today broke its first-ever TV spot, "timed to the Boston Marathon," as part of the brand's $2M "What If Everybody Ran?" campaign that began last month. The ad was "slated to air locally in Boston and nationally on ESPN." The ad is airing "only on Monday" and for now is "not part of a bigger TV push." Mizuno VP/Brand Marketing & Management Ahmet Abaci said that the brand "prefers to deliver its message in more interactive ways and through grassroots efforts" (ADAGE.com, 4/19).
