The NBA D-League today formally announced that the Springfield Armor has been sold to local investors and will relocate to Grand Rapids, Mich., next season under a single affiliation hybrid deal with the Pistons (John Lombardo, Staff Writer).

Eugene, Ore., is bidding to bring the IAAF Track & Field World Championships to the U.S. for the first time. The city is "one of three candidates" for the '19 event along with Doha, Qatar, and Barcelona, Spain (AP, 4/15).

Tennis Channel today announced that Dish Network subscribers are now able to access the channel's linear stream via DishAnywhere.com on computers and the Tennis Channel Everywhere app for mobile devices (Tennis Channel).

Chicagoland Speedway announced a deal with Lucas Oil Products to serve as title sponsor of the Sept. 12 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race, which will now be called the Lucas Oil 225 (Chicagoland Speedway).
