NBA Launches Campaign To Increase Canadian Youth Participation

The NBA today announced the launch of NBA.com/playball, a new campaign in Canada aimed at increasing youth participation in basketball. The effort includes the league's first central database for youth clubs, social media promotions, and PSAs featuring Raptors players and prominent Canadian players throughout the league. Among the featured Canada-born players are Anthony Bennett, Tristan Thompson, Joel Anthony, Jamaal Magliore and Kelly Olynyk. The Raptors are Quincy Acy, Terrence Ross, Jonas Valanciunas and coach Dwane Casey (NBA).
