The NHL has increased its credit facility to $600M, up $200M from the previous amount. The league also "received a better rate on the agreement with Citigroup Inc., which was completed last month." The facility is priced at the Libor rate, plus 250 basis points (BLOOMBERG NEWS, 7/17).

Fox Sports today announced that the upcoming FS1 network will feature a show titled "Fox Soccer Daily." The live news, highlights and analysis program will air weekdays at 4:00pm ET beginning Monday, Aug. 19 (Fox Sports).

The AHL named St. John's IceCaps VP/Operations Rob Mullowney the winner of its Ken McKenzie Award for the '12-13 season. The award is presented annually to an AHL team exec who most successfully promotes his or her own club (AHL).

HARBORcenter Development today announced that it has reached an agreement with Marriott and Shaner Hotels to develop and operate the hotel at HARBORcenter in downtown Buffalo (HARBORcenter Development).

SI this week features Pirates P Jason Grilli on the cover with the header, "The Strangest But Truest Story Of The Summer." Grilli is the first Pirates player to appear on an SI cover since Barry Bonds appeared on the cover of the May 4, 1992 issue. Giants C Buster Posey appears on a West Coast regional cover (THE DAILY).
