Dana Zimmer Leaving NBC For Role With Tribune Broadcasting

Zimmer will oversee distribution of Tribune Broadcasting's TV channels
Dana Zimmer is leaving NBC to become Tribune Broadcasting President of Distribution. Zimmer will oversee distribution for Tribune's TV channels, including WGN America and 23 local stations. She reports to Tribune CEO Peter Liguori and will be based in Philadelphia. She starts May 13. Zimmer was an Exec VP at NBC overseeing distribution for the company's cable channels. Zimmer, who was named to SportsBusiness Journal's Forty Under 40 class in '09, is a cable industry veteran, having held distribution jobs for YES, Fox Cable Networks and Discovery.
