Kyle Lohse Signing Leads To Boost In Brewers Ticket Sales

The Brewers yesterday sold 34,000 tickets in the wake of signing P Kyle Lohse to a three-year, $33M deal. Brewers VP/Communications Tyler Barnes said that the team usually sells 7,000 tickets a day this time of year (THE DAILY).

Meanwhile, according to TiqIQ.com, the team's regular-season opener Monday at Miller Park has an average ticket price of $99.56, down from last year's Opening Day price of $119.44. The average ticket price for all games is $57.74, up 20.2% from this time last year. TiqIQ.com said that the Brewers are last in MLB in "average resale ticket price" (JSONLINE.com, 3/26).
