Gravity Defyer Suing Under Armour For Copyright Infringement

California-based shoe manufacturer Gravity Defyer is suing Under Armour in U.S. District Court for trademark infringement, claiming that UA "knowingly used the company’s name and mark on its running shoes." The company alleges UA's Micro G Defy running shoes infringe on the Gravity Defyer trademark and federally registered "G Defy" moniker. UA officials "could not be immediately reached" for comment today (BIZJOURNALS.com, 3/25).
