Kruk To Become Third Member Of "Sunday Night Baseball" Booth

ESPN today announced that MLB analyst John Kruk will join the "Sunday Night Baseball" booth starting with the '13 season. Kruk will join play-by-play voice Dan Shulman and analyst Orel Hershiser. Kruk has served as a "Baseball Tonight" analyst on ESPN since '04 and has previously served as a guest analyst on "SNB" (ESPN). The last two analysts to depart the "SNB" booth were Bobby Valentine and Terry Francona, both of whom left to take jobs as MLB managers. Kruk: "I think that is why they are putting me in the booth. Ain't no chance of that happening" (AP, 12/3).
