Eagles, Tim McDermott Part Ways; Sources Say He Was Fired

Sources said that the Eagles have fired Senior VP & CMO Tim McDermott. Both the Eagles and McDermott released statements saying his departure was "amicable." The Eagles said in their statement, "The Eagles thank him for his work, value his past contributions, and wish him well." McDermott is the "second member of the Eagles' front office fired in the past week," as Senior VP/Communications Rob Zeiger was dismissed on Wednesday (CSNPHILLY.com, 11/26).
