Singer Bobby Brown is slated for a halftime performance at the Magic-Pistons game at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

SATURDAY

The 49ers will hold a grand opening celebration of the 49ers Team Store Kiosk at Westfield Valley Fair Mall in Santa Clara, Calif.

The Lightning will host a charity hockey game called "Battle of the Badges," which pits Tampa-area police and fire departments against each other, at Tampa Bay Times Forum. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Gold Shield Foundation.

Lakers G Kobe Bryant will serve as honorary Chair of the sixth annual HomeWalk to End Homelessness in L.A.

US Airways Center will debut Vektor Vodka-themed area, called Bar Vektor, prior to the Heat-Suns game.
