Canadian Olympic Foundation, Hudson's Bay Relaunch Olympic Mittens

The Canadian Olympic Foundation and the Hudson's Bay Company today launched a new set of the Olympic mittens that were a "surprise hit" during the '10 Vancouver Games. Hudson's Bay "won't divulge how many were sold, but the mitts, identical to the red knitted ones worn by 12,000 torch bearers, were flying off the shelves." The retailer reportedly "could barely keep up with demand" (THESTAR.com, 10/30).
