Youth Sports Network The Whistle To Debut Content On NBCSN

The first televised programming from youth sports network startup The Whistle airs Friday afternoon at 4:00pm ET on NBC Sports Network. The debut half-hour episode features youth-oriented interviews with several current NFL stars, including Packers QB Aaron Rodgers, Giants QB Eli Manning and 49ers TE Vernon Davis, and basketball tips from new business partner The Harlem Globetrotters, among several other segments.
The Whistle, operating on a multi-platform distribution strategy, is backed by a variety of sports and television industry execs and pro athletes, including former Gatorade exec Jeff Urban, former MLB President Bob DuPuy, Yankees SS Derek Jeter and Broncos QB Peyton Manning.
