Wisconsin, Nebraska To Debut New Adidas Uniform Designs Saturday

Saturday's Wisconsin-Nebraska football game in Lincoln will feature both teams wearing new alternate uniforms designed by adidas, kicking off the apparel company's "Unrivaled" series. Outgoing NU AD Tom Osborne selected an all-red design with black helmets and black accents. He "didn't opt for the safest choice," but it is "not the boldest one, either." Wisconsin will roll out an all-white look. The designs build on "traditional school logos and concepts with bold color, accents and special accessories" (OMAHA WORLD-HERALD, 9/28).

Meanwhile, Arizona football will debut its copper helmets during Saturday's game against Oregon State (THE DAILY).
