Red Bull announced that it has signed Wizards G John Wall as an endorser (Red Bull USA).

The paint scheme for Michael Waltrip's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series No. 55 Toyota honoring the Univ. of Kentucky's '12 men's basketball championship was unveiled today. The paint scheme will be featured in Saturday night's Quaker State 400 at Kentucky Speedway (THE DAILY).

Former Dolphins exec Eddie Jones died today at the age of 74. Jones worked for the team for 18 seasons starting in '88 and served as President from '96-05 (Dolphins). 

Basketball HOFer and Dodgers investor Magic Johnson today launches the MAGIC Card, a reloadable prepaid MasterCard, in partnership with OneWest Bank (Magic Johnson Enterprises).

Lexus today announced that it will sponsor the '12 U.S. Women's Open as the official vehicle of the July 5-8 tournament (Lexus).

SMI has tapped Charlotte-area firm Tortal to "provide training for its more than 2,000 employees." The training, signaling an increased emphasis on customer service, will be provided at SMI's eight racing venues (BIZJOURNALS.com, 6/27). 

UFC has launched a social media promotion for the Anderson Silva-Chael Sonnen UFC 148 headlining match. A comic strip on the MMA promotion's Facebook page will countdown to the July 7 card. Each day, another page of the strip will be published (UFC).

Orioles CF Adam Jones has joined a promotional program to raise awareness about free summer meals and to help kick off the Baltimore Partnership to End Childhood Hunger. Other organizations involved are Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake's office, Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign, the Family League of Baltimore City, the Baltimore Housing Authority and Maryland Hunger Solutions (THE DAILY).
