Redskins Moving Training Camp To Richmond, Va., Starting In '13

Virginia Gov. Bob McDonnell today announced that the Redskins will move their training camp to Richmond in '13 "at a site not yet identified." McDonnell also confirmed that the team will "expand its corporate headquarters and training facility in Loudoun County." The governor's office said Richmond is considering a number of locations for training camp and "will make further announcements regarding that process in the days and weeks ahead" (TIMESDISPATCH.com, 6/6). The team has held training camp in Ashburn, Va., since '92 (THE DAILY). The move was first reported by the AP.
