Giants Tonight Will Receive Super Bowl Championship Rings

The Giants tonight will receive their '12 Super Bowl championship rings in a private event at Tiffany & Co.'s flagship location in Manhattan. The team has "kept close wraps on the final design," but P Steve Weatherford "may have provided his Twitter followers with a sneak peek" yesterday (N.Y. DAILY NEWS, 5/16). The Giants are allowing fans to create photos of themselves with a virtual version of the ring, as well as the team's three previous championship rings and the Lombardi Trophy, using the GoldRun mobile app and Augmented Reality technology (Giants).

Several Giants players attended last night's 19th annual Gridiron Gala supporting the United Way at the Waldorf-Astoria in N.Y., where G Chris Snee was "honored as a hometown hero" (NEWSDAY, 5/16).
