Fox Readies For Multi-Network Coverage Of EPL Survival Sunday

Sunday is the final day of the EPL season, and all 10 games for the first time will be available on U.S. TV, "including nine across an array of Fox networks" in an "unprecedented endeavor." The only game not on a Fox outlet is Queens Park Rangers-Manchester City on ESPN2. Fox Sports co-President & co-COO Eric Shanks: "This is a new high point for us" (NYTIMES.com, 5/10).

Fox analyst Warren Barton: "It's a huge challenge, and it's something that we're very proud to be taking on." The L.A. TIMES' Kevin Baxter wrote, "On no other day in no other sport is there more on the line than on English soccer's Relegation Sunday. ... The battle at the bottom of the table is arguably more important than at the top" (L.A. TIMES, 5/6).
