Speed To Employ "Social Garage" At NASCAR Sprint All-Star Race

Speed plans to bring its digital marketing campaign, the "Social Garage," to life for the NASCAR industry during the '12 Sprint All-Star Race. The company will set up a hospitality area adjacent to the Sprint Cup garage to entertain teams, drivers, NASCAR officials and media on race day. The network last year launched the "Social Garage" as an element of its website where it can aggregate online conversations on Twitter and Facebook about races and motorsports events. During the Sprint All-Star race, fans that use #sprintallstar will have their messages funneled to the "Social Garage." Fans also can enter a sweepstakes on Speed's Facebook page that will award $10,000. Speed will broadcast the All-Star Race on May 19 at 7:00pm ET.
