Gloops Signs On As Title Sponsor Of MLB's Openers In Japan

MLB today announced that Japan-based social game developer gloops has signed on as the title sponsor of the Japan Opening Series 2012, which will feature the Mariners and A's in a two-game series March 28 and 29. As part of the deal, the gloops event logo will appear on both teams' batting helmets, and the brand will sponsor the A's jersey patch. Other sponsors of the Gloops Japan Opening Series include Boeing, Bank of America, Lawson Ticket, SANKYO, Sato Pharmeceutical and Ito Ham. Boeing will sponsor the Mariners' uniform patch (THE DAILY).

This comes on the heels of gloops' announcement that they will sponsor the MLB Rangers.
