ACC Unveils Digital Network Venture Housed Within TheACC.com

The ACC today formally unveiled its latest media property, the ACC Digital Network, which will be a joint venture between longstanding conference media partner Raycom Sports and digital media company Silver Chalice Ventures. The effort, housed within theACC.com, will provide regular programming throughout the week as well as pregame and postgame coverage. The talent roster will include former NBA TV and NBA.com personality Kyle Montgomery, former WPEC-CBS personality Kelly Nash and former ACC players/coaches such as Dorsey Levens, Riley Skinner and Tommy Bowden (ACC).

The venture was first reported  in last week's SportsBusiness Journal by Michael Smith, who noted the network's "long-term plan calls for its content to go to Internet TV outlets, such as Roku or Netflix, and syndication into other websites" (SPORTSBUSINESS JOURNAL, 10/16).
