NHL Announces Plans For Molson-Sponsored Festival In Winnipeg

The NHL today announced plans for the '11 Molson Canadian NHL Face-Off, an Oct. 6 festival in Winnipeg that will celebrate the league's return to that city and the start of the Jets' regular season. The event will take place at The Forks downtown area and will include a live broadcast of the Canadiens-Maple Leafs game from Air Canada Centre. There will also be a live introduction of the '10-11 Jets team. The CBC, Versus and NHL Network will have cameras on the scene. This marks Molson's first major activation since signing a multiyear beer sponsorship with the NHL (NHL).
