Organizers May Not Hit Goal Of 40,000 Tickets Sold For WKU-UK

Event organizers for tonight's Kentucky-Western Kentucky football game at LP Field "may not reach their initial goal of 40,000 tickets sold." WKU AD Ross Bjork: "We've been a little disappointed with the ticket sales so far." Nashville Sports Council President & CEO Scott Ramsey said, "We're going to have a chance to showcase Nashville nationally on ESPNU and get people into our city-funded stadium. Whether it's 15,000 to 20,000 fans or 35,0000 to 40,000 this time, it's a good thing for Nashville." Tonight's game is the second of a four-game series between the two teams (Nashville TENNESSEAN, 9/1).
