Atallah Says NFL Players Have Not Asked Prospects To Boycott Draft

NFL Players trade association spokesperson George Atallah took to Twitter late this morning to clarify the recently decertified group’s stance on NFL Draft prospects attending next month’s event in N.Y. In a series of Tweets, Atallah downplayed the report that the players’ group has asked prospects to boycott the draft. He wrote, “Let me also correct the record: the NFLPA is not asking anyone to 'boycott' anything. NFL Draft in particular.” Atallah did hint that the group could have something in store, however, when he added in part, “Players and their families will be in NYC. It just maybe different. We will provide details when we can” (THE DAILY).
