Kevin Garnett To Wear Anta Shoe Displaying Celtics-Lakers Record

Celtics F Kevin Garnett is "planning to wear a stylized Anta-brand shoe" during Sunday's game against the Lakers that features a patch with the text 152-120, symbolizing the Celtics' all-time record against their L.A. rivals. The game is at Staples Center and will air live on ABC (SPORTS.YAHOO.com, 1/27). 

The Dallas Morning News' Tim Cowlishaw: "If he's going to do some taunting with his shoes, do something that's relevant to today's fans. Nobody would know what those numbers mean." FanHouse.com's Kevin Blackistone: "These are the new shoes made by a Chinese company. They may have well put those numbers in Chinese characters because no one ... knows what the heck it means" ("Around The Horn," ESPN, 1/27).
