NHL, NHLPA invested $14M in cities during season

The NHL and NHLPA invested more than $14M in cities across the U.S. and Canada during the 2023-24 regular season. This came through community impact programs and initiatives including: NHL Club Cultural Celebration and Awareness Nights, Hockey Fights Cancer, Learn to Play, First Shift, NHL Player Inclusion Coalition, United By Hockey Mobile Museum, NHL Legacy Projects and NHL Street. These initiatives saw more than 40,000 boys and girls, a record-number, try hockey for the first time, while more than 350 in-game awareness nights were celebrated with fans. The first-ever leaguewide inclusion educational tour also was completed (NHL).
