Masters final round on CBS has lowest audience since 2021

CBS on Sunday drew its least-watched final round of the Masters since 2021, with the network averaging 9.59 million viewers as Scottie Scheffler won by four strokes (Hideki Matsuyama was the winner in 2021). That’s down 20% from 12.06 million for Jon Rahm’s win last year (also by four strokes), but that round has a huge out-of-home viewership boost on Easter Sunday (almost a 21% bump). This year, the OOH bump was only 8%. Sunday’s round peaked at 12.61 million viewers. The third round on Saturday drew 6.595 million viewers (last year’s third round had to air on Sunday morning due to weather). For the weekend, CBS averaged 8.21 million viewers, short of the 8.99 million last year (even with the weather delays). Two years ago, that weekend figure was 8.86 million, and in 2021, it was 7.41 million.
