Longtime co-head of CAA’s baseball division JEFF BERRY confirmed he has "left CAA and has withdrawn his agent certification from the MLBPA." Berry said, “It felt like the right time.” Some of Berry's biggest clients were Phillies SS TREA TURNER, Astros P JOSH HADER and former MLBer BUSTER POSEY. Berry’s exit was “not unexpected or sudden.” CAA was "aware he was ready for something new" and was “planning for it” (X, 3/27). CAA Baseball in a post on social media said, “Thank you Jeff Berry for the impact you made at CAA Baseball over the last 18 years! There are so many great memories, stories, and accomplishments. We all wish you happiness and success in your next chapter!” (X, 27).

BUYERS & SELLERS: Indiana Univ. football coach CURT CIGNETTI bought a 9,400-square-foot mansion in southeast Bloomington. He paid $2.6M for the 13.3-acre property. The mansion was built in 2000 and has eight bedrooms and 7.5 baths. It features an exercise room, sauna, underground pool and tennis court (Bloomington HERALD-TIMES, 3/27)...Eagles QB KENNY PICKETT is listing his home in the Pittsburgh suburb of Cranberry Township at $2.7M. The six-bedroom, six-bathroom home is situated on 0.42 acres (PITTSBURGH BUSINESS TIMES, 3/27).
