La Liga, ESPN to hold watch party at Disneyland

La Liga North America is collaborating with U.S. broadcast partner ESPN on an upcoming edition of its El Partidazo event series at Disneyland in Anaheim on April 21. Fans in attendance will have the opportunity to watch that day’s match between Barcelona and Real Madrid, along with several ESPN studio programs -- Fuera de Juego, ESPNFC and SportsCenter -- originating from the Downtown Disney District. Former La Liga stars Hugo Sanchez and Iker Casillas will be in attendance, along with ESPN personalities Hércules Gomez, Mauricio Pedroza, Ricardo Puig and Sebastian Salazar. While this will mark the first edition of El Partidazo presented in collaboration with ESPN, La Liga North America (a joint venture between the Spanish soccer league and Relevent Sports) has organized more than 40 events this season in cities such as Chicago, Miami, L.A., N.Y. and Dallas.
