NFL Marketing Notes: Bengals cashing in on sponsors

KickStand Cocktails

In Cincinnati, Meg Erpenbeck wrote the Bengals “continue to boost" their sponsor roster with the “latest addition" KickStand Cocktails. The specialty canned cocktail maker is “set to be served throughout Paycor Stadium this season along with its own dedicated bar.” The new deal comes one day after the Bengals named Fischer Homes its “official homebuilder.” As part of their deal, Fischer Homes will “launch a promotional series called ‘Who Dey at Home,’” where Bengals mascot Who Dey will “show off life inside one of Fischer's homes” (CINCINNATI BUSINESS COURIER, 9/7).

NEXT MAN UP: In K.C., Ellen Cagle wrote the Univ. of Missouri-K.C. has developed a partnership with the Chiefs, with "benefits to students including scholarships, leadership, mentorship and career-shadowing in the Chiefs organization.” Events for prospective students “include stadium tours and other programs.” The partnership will “last five years” and is “designed to help UMKC's recruitment efforts.” The effort kicked off Thursday -- the Chiefs' first regular season game -- with a "campus celebration” (K.C. BUSINESS JOURNAL, 9/7).

BUILDING CONNECTION: The Seahawks named T-Mobile the Exclusive 5G Wireless Partner of the team in a multiyear partnership that extends through the 2028 season. T-Mobile branding will be visible in-venue at Lumen Field and the company also will partner closely with the team to enhance the fan experience at Lumen Field, in addition to rolling out network upgrades to boost connectivity for customers at events year-round (Seahawks).
