St. Louis City SC’s inaugural jersey "finally was revealed to the public” yesterday, according to Tom Timmermann of the ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH. The home jersey is what the team is calling “City Red (others would say pink), with a stylized, impressionist take on the Arch on the left side." The collar and trim on the sleeve are "blue, with yellow piping on each side, on the sleeve and the collar, harkening to the colors in the St. Louis flag.” Inside the collar, it reads "Our City Our Home, and at the bottom, which will only be seen if the shirt is untucked, is the St. Louis flag.” On each shoulder, "underneath each of the three blue adidas stripes, is a very thin, almost invisible yellow stripe.” St. Louis City CRO Dennis Moore said the jersey “has been done for a very long time" and the club was "actually surprised it wasn’t leaked it’s been so long." Timmermann noted the club began presales, “sight unseen, of the jersey a week ago, and the team says that the presale set records" for MLS. Fans who had ordered the jerseys in advance were able to pick them up at CityPark starting yesterday. The road jersey “will be revealed later" (ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH, 11/16).
