Co-Founder, FTW

Kelsey Rowley is the Communications Manager for Comcast Spectacor’s Gaming division and the Philadelphia Fusion esports franchise that competes in the Overwatch League.  Kelsey is also the Communications Manager for T1 Entertainment & Sports, a global esports joint venture between SK Telecom and Comcast Spectacor.

Reporting to T1 CEO Joe Marsh, Kelsey is responsible for developing and implementing communications strategies that drive business objectives through public relations, media relations, social media engagement, marketing initiatives, brand management, and internal communications.  As a member of Spectacor Gaming’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Council and Co-Founder of the organization’s women in gaming initiative, FTW: For The Women, Kelsey helps to enhance community relationships through the coordination of special events and various community impact opportunities.

Kelsey joined Comcast Spectacor’s Gaming division shortly after the company announced the establishment of the Philadelphia Fusion in 2017, which is one of the 12 original teams that competed in the Overwatch League’s inaugural season.  Since that time, she has been instrumental in developing the communications strategy and launch of T1 Entertainment & Sports and the groundbreaking of Fusion Arena in the Philadelphia Sports Complex, which will stand as the largest new construction, purpose-built esports arena in the Western Hemisphere.  Kelsey also worked closely with the Overwatch League to host a week of activations and events leading up to the 2019 Overwatch League Grand Finals Championship at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center.

Prior to joining Comcast Spectacor’s Gaming division, Kelsey served as a Publicist on Comcast Spectacor’s Corporate Communications team, supporting their portfolio of traditional sports and entertainment businesses that include the Philadelphia Flyers, Wells Fargo Center, and Philadelphia Wings.  She also held various HR-related roles where she supported enterprise-wide initiatives for the organization, including internal communications, employee engagement, and special projects.

Kelsey developed her passion for sports and entertainment during her years as a competitive figure skater and continues to be fascinated by the fast-evolving, ever-growing gaming landscape.  Kelsey earned a B. A. in Public Relations, Advertising and Applied Communication from Penn State in 2014 and currently lives in Philadelphia.
